Election 2008

To everyone who is saying crap about Obama:
I realize that you're sore and bitter from losing. I lost too! But complaining about how horrible of a person Obama is won't change anything. Except that it will tear this country apart. With so much crap going on in the world, we can't afford to have our country torn apart. So, suck it up, deal with it, or move to Mexico. Obama is the President Elect. Maybe you don't agree with his ideas, maybe you think he's the scum of the earth, I don't honestly give a darn. Because he's going to be the next president, and therefore, he deserves our support. It's really not going to have THAT big of an impact on your daily life anyway. And if he really is as bad as you all think, then the next election we'll get a republican again. Just stop freaking complaining! We need to be united! I hate political parties, and elections. They tear the country apart. And that's not what America is to me.
To all of you who agree with me, sorry, I just had to get that out there. It's really bothering me. Politics. Sheesh.

That you didn't put "thanks for reading"? I did notice.

I do have one question. How am I tearing apart the country by being upset with the election? I mean really? Can I not have an oppinion. I am allowed to voice my concerns. And I don't think it will tear apart the country. This is what makes our country great, being able to have differing opinions.

Haha, actually I didn't, but anonymous blogger is keen.

I agree with you. There's a lot of things we have to deal with in life. I don't feel like we are asking people to not have an opposing position, but to not let that be a constant wedge between us as a people. We are still brothers and sisters.

Thank you, Lori! I am with you. I voted McCain, but I do not want to deal with another four years of "I hate the president!" coming from left and right. (Well, in this case, just right. Hehe.) So, because I do not want to deal with US politics and complaining, I think I WILL move to Mexico. For three months.

Last night the light bulb went on. Horrible disappoinment is always felt by almost half of our country after ever election. That makes me sad.
This morning when I said my prayers for the first time I prayed for Barak Obama. Using his name, and asking the Lord to bless him as he picked his cabinet members. That he would choose wisely, and lead the country in a direction pleasing to the Lord. An overwhelming calm came over me and I felt at peace. It is in the Lords hands, it will be alright.

Lindsay don't quit leaving comments. I love to hear your point of view.
